About The Team

Pittsburgh Lacrosse Club

The Pittsburgh Lacrosse Club, sponsored by the William Penn Tavern, is Western Pennsylvania's only post-collegiate men's lacrosse club.

In the spring, we compete in the Midwest Cities Lacrosse Conference against teams from Ohio to Minnesota. Practices start in mid-March and the season culminates in a playoff tournament in Chicago. Home games are played at Central Catholic High School.

Each Summer, we enter a team in the Pittsburgh Lacrosse Store’s summer league that runs from June/July through August. Summer League is a more relaxed league and a great opportunity to get introduced to the team.

Pittsburgh Lacrosse Store sponsors several indoor, Box Lacrosse sessions in the Falll/Winter that allow players to play the game as it’s played in Canada. Many of players participate to stay in game shape in the off-season.

The Pittsburgh Lacrosse Club also has a fledgling Masters Team for players 35 and over.  We play pick-up when possible and compete in the BlackEyeLax Midwest Masters Indoor Championship in Columbus, OH.
